My paintings are about a question of what is paint and what is a surface. The viewer can see paint stripes from an underlayer created by oil absorbent paper with gesso as priming. Then with a collage as another paint. The old layer becoming a new surface. The work is trying to make the surface become paint by scraping paint and pull an under mark up to an eye.

"I consider my work like a folded panel that was unfolded into a flat painting. when I think of my painting this way. I got the sense of order. A side that appearing first in your mind and that come after.
This idea is very attractive to me that the action happening in your mind did not happen in a real space.
The image in your mind quite seems different from what you really saw.
It has an order of uncovering appearance."

I am interested in the common surrounding. the site that has nothing more than just a passage. For me, this place is living in a different time flow. When we move this place seems to stand still. Until the day they just disappear, that moment will be us who stop. Wondering about our memories with this place and realize that it has very small memories left.
It is interesting that when we know that they are gone forever, what should we going to feel.
I believe people can handle losing important things in their life but they don’t know how to react when losing an unremarkable thing.
